Privacy Policy
Your privacy is not just a policy; it’s a core feature of our architecture. We believe education should be anonymous and accessible without tracking.
No Personal Data Collection
MathGeometrySolver is designed to be used without creating an account. We do not ask for, collect, or store:
- Names or Usernames
- Email Addresses (unless you contact support manually)
- Phone Numbers
- Passwords
- School Affiliations
When you calculate a geometry problem, the data (numbers, angles) is processed instantly in your browser or temporarily by our server to return the result, and then immediately discarded.
Cookies & Local Storage
We use minimal local storage technologies strictly for functionality:
- Preferences: To remember if you prefer “Degrees” or “Radians” (stored locally on your device).
- Session Data: To keep your current calculation visible if you refresh the page.
We use anonymized analytics (like Google Analytics) to understand which tools are most popular (e.g., “Triangle Solver” vs “Circle Solver”) to improve our service. This data is aggregated and cannot trace back to an individual student.
Children’s Privacy (COPPA)
Our website is an educational tool safe for students of all ages. We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. Since we do not allow user accounts or comments, there is no mechanism for a child to publicly post personal info on our site.
Third-Party Services
To render the beautiful math equations and style our pages, we use trusted Content Delivery Networks (CDNs):
- KaTeX: For math rendering.
- Tailwind CSS: For design framework.
These services may collect standard technical logs (like IP addresses) for security and performance purposes, governed by their respective privacy policies.
